Because we love to fish with soft plastic baits, we have paid a lot of attention to jig heads. Everyone should be able to choose, be it a fisherman who prefers a classic head with a molded weight, or without, or a fisherman who is after new things and would choose from "specialty heads", or a fisherman that needs to satisfy his eyes also and chooses from our category of "Fish heads"
These heads were developed with fishing for perch and walleye on difficult stony bottoms in mind. Their shape hinders snagging between rocks or other obstacles, it insure the bait 'stands up' when it rests on the bottom, and as if that wasn't enough, it causes the bait to sway from side to side during vertical jigging.
More often than not the strike of a perch or walleye will come when the bait is descending down the water column. To stretch this process in time we have developed these relatively light heads on long hooks. Soft baits are less dense than water and thus float, combined with a light weight the displacement compensates the gravity and the bait sink to the bottom very slowly. As a bonus these weights have facets.
These are heads which bust the myths around fishing with 'Soft baits'...
Jig heads without an extended molding on the hook shank, 1gr to 15gr, When producing jig heads we pay special attention to hook quality, that is why we exclusively use Mustad hooks.
These jig heads with an extended molding (neck) on the hook shank, in 3gr to 15gr. When producing jig heads we pay special attention to hook quality, that is why we exclusively use Mustad hooks.
Heavy heads on strong hooks of the highest quality - this was the specification for designing jig heads for heavy catfish and the salt. The hook chosen is the Eagle Claw E730. The required result was achieved - but try for yourselves.
A jig head should please the eye of the fisherman and that is why we introduced this range of jigs in the shape a fish's head.
